who’s responsiblity is it to send cards?

ok me and my husband have been married for 4 yrs now and i always send out all the birthday and christmas and mothers day etc cards. i always write in them and sign both our names like most wives. the thing is lately my mother in law has drove me over then edge and i no longer feel the need to be so invovled with her after all she still spells my name wrong and sends a card that says happy birthday 2 days late. this year her b-day is on the 9th in a few days and i haven’t sent a card and thought i’d leave it to my husband since she is his mother. anyone think i should have sent one or should call her or is it ok to have him do it since she only calls and talks to him i never get a phone call from her. she even made my fil call on mothers day (my b-day too) to tell hiim to call. so he did and she cried and even though i sent a card and e-mailed her she never told me happy b-day. what is yalls take is this ok to have him deal with her and make him remember.
ok for the record i have spoken with my mil and me and my husband and sister in law and brother in law confronted her. we clean the slate clean and she then repeats things. my sister in law has the same problems trust me i’ve called her plenty and told her she could call she just chooses not to or waits for us to call her. i’ve just gotten to a point now where i don’t want to deal with her or her cards and gifts.
