What are her feelings concerning me??

We are friends, and I told her I like her a lot. We decided to stay friends. Lately, I sent her an ecard for VDay that said how much I care about her. She reacted very favorably to it in a romantic type way. Tonight, her and I and my friends went dancing, and she wanted to dance with me quite a bit at times, but she would always hand me off after about two dances. However, we had a few good conversations, and I caught her watching a few times while danced or talked to other friends. Though, we continued to hold hands after a dance had ended once, and while we were going to the floor, we held hands on the way. She also tried to say weird jokes that I did not get, but she seemed to be trying hard to get me to laugh. Does she like me?

It’s really hard to tell. If she was the one that decided to stay “just friends” then I would have to say that she only sees you as a friend or that she is unsure if she could see you as more. She could just be afraid to start a “more than friend” relationship in fear that if it doesn’t work out then you can’t be friends. It’s hard for girls and I’m sure guys to picture a friend as more than a friend and sometimes if one person feels differently it can ruin the friendship. I would suggest really talking to her about it and I would do it in a way that would say to her look I really like you and I want more but if you say no I will still be your friend. Just let her know you are putting yourself out there and if she tells you she doesn’t know or she doesn’t go forward with something more I would let it go…..Good Luck….I wish you the best!
